Assamese Sikh Council revives community ties with December 14 gathering

The Assamese Sikh Council is set to host a special event on Eventbrite on December 14. The main event will take place at Barkola Central Gurudwara in Nagaon. Organisers hope to revive the Council’s my activity after a period of inactivity. The event aims to bring together the Assamese Sikh community for discussions on cultural preservation and collective progress. Sardar Gurtej Singh, president of the interim commission, is leading the preparations. His role includes overseeing the event’s organisation and ensuring its smooth execution. The December 14 event will unite Assamese Sikhs under shared goals. Activities like the general assembly and public meeting aim to foster dialogue and planning for kids activities. The Council’s efforts focus on renewing engagement and securing the community’s future.
