Astana Airport Access Changes: Temporary Closure for Repairs
Travelers and locals in Astana can expect some changes in access to the city's international airport starting next week. The route via Akhmetyev Street near the Aksunkar Hotel will be temporarily closed for repairs and resurfacing, but the entrance and exit near the hotel will reopen upon completion of the work.
Beginning October 23, the route to and from Astana International Airport via Akhmetyev Street will be closed. This is due to scheduled repairs on the drainage system and new asphalt paving. The closure is expected to last until the work is completed overnight from October 24 to 25.
Passengers and those picking up arrivals are advised to plan their routes in advance. Alternative access points to the airport should be used during the closure. Upon completion of the work, the entrance and exit near the Aksunkar Hotel will reopen for use.
The temporary closure of the route via Akhmetyev Street is part of ongoing efforts to improve the city's infrastructure. Travelers are advised to stay informed about the closure and plan their journeys accordingly. The repairs are expected to be completed overnight on October 24 to 25, with the entrance and exit near the Aksunkar Hotel reopening upon completion.
