Astana Hosts Grand Military Band Concert for Defender of the Fatherland Day
A military band concert will take place in Astana on May 7 to mark Defender of the Fatherland Day. The event, organised by the city’s official administration, will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Isaev Square. The concert will feature performances by military bands and ceremonial drills by honour guards. Government agencies will send representatives, including the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also take part. Attendees will see demonstrations of military formation training and ceremonial unit drills. The Border Service of the National Security Committee and Kazakhstan’s State Protection Service will join the event as well. The concert brings together multiple state agencies to celebrate the national holiday. Military bands, honour guards, and ceremonial displays will form the centrepiece of the programme. The event remains open to the public in Isaev Square.
