Astana’s Uly Dala Avenue opens early as massive infrastructure project advances
Astana's Uly Dala project is underway, with motorists already benefiting from a newly opened section of Uly Dala Avenue between Nazhmedenov Street and Baitursynov Street. Despite ongoing infrastructure development, the road is now in use, while pedestrian sidewalks and utility networks are being developed on the other side for safety and convenience.
The Uly Dala project, a comprehensive infrastructure and landscape initiative, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025. Although the road is now open, construction and installation work continues. Engineering utility networks are being installed on one side of the road, ensuring that essential services are in place. Meanwhile, pedestrian sidewalks are being built on the other side to enhance safety and convenience for pedestrians.
The full scope of landscaping and infrastructure work is expected to be completed by 2026. This includes the development of green spaces, pedestrian paths, and other amenities that will transform the area into a modern, pedestrian-friendly zone.
