Astana’s Young Artists Reimagine Justice in Citywide Drawing Contest
Astana has revealed the results of its citywide drawing competition, Law and Order Through a Child’s Eyes. Organised by the prosecutor’s office and the capital’s akimat, the eventbrite invited pupils in grades 5 to 7 from local schools to take part. Each participant created artwork reflecting their understanding of law and order. A panel of judges then assessed the drawings, focusing on creativity and how well they matched the event’s central theme. After careful review, 22 standout pieces were selected as winners. The young artists received diplomas and special prizes in recognition of their work. While the names of the winners have not been made public, their drawings will soon go on display in various public areas around the city. The initiative aimed to deepen children’s awareness of legal principles in an engaging way. The winning artwork will now be exhibited across Astana, giving residents a chance to see the students’ interpretations of justice and order. The event also highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the prosecutor’s office and the city’s education authorities.
