In the Westpfalz region, several incidents of driving under the influence were reported over the weekend, according to information transmitted by the West Palatinate Police Headquarters via news aktuell.

On Saturday evening at 21:45, a 33-year-old man was pulled over in the Erfenbacher Valley. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of over 2.00 promille, leading to a blood sample being taken and his driver's license being confiscated.

Later that night, around 23:30, a 17-year-old teenager was stopped on an e-scooter in Vogelwoogstraße. His blood alcohol concentration was over 2.00 promille, and a blood sample was taken. He was prohibited from continuing his journey.

The following day, Sunday, at 01:20, a 42-year-old man was pulled over with his car in Denisstraße. Despite his blood alcohol concentration being under 0.50 promille, he was prohibited from continuing his journey.

At 02:15, a 21-year-old man was pulled over in Zollamtstraße while sitting in his car. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol concentration under 0.50 promille, and he was advised not to drive.

Earlier in the morning at 02:21, a 20-year-old youth was stopped on an e-scooter in Salzstraße. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of over 0.50 promille, leading to an administrative offenses procedure being initiated against him.
