Autobahn GmbH Closes B241 for Four Nights in October for A36 Junction Repairs
Autobahn GmbH is set to close the B241 for four nights in October to carry out essential maintenance work on the A36 junction. The closure will allow for repairs to the underside of the bridge and the pedestrian and cycle path.
The closure will take place nightly from Tuesday, October 21 to Friday, October 24, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. During this time, traffic will be redirected past the construction site in a single lane, with a traffic light system in place to manage the flow.
The overnight closure from Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24 will specifically affect the B241 at the A36 interchange. This is to facilitate work on the underside of the bridge and the pedestrian and cycle path in the area.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time if travelling through the area during the closure. Autobahn GmbH apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks road users for their patience while these important repairs are carried out.
