Edge Automy Doubles Down on Latvia

The drone tech giant Edge Automy recently unveiled a slick new production facility in Riga, marking a massive expansion of their operations in Latvia. This shiny new 10,000-square-meter hub currently employs a whopping 270 staff, with expectations for that number to shoot up in the coming months. This fresh expansion is a major leap in the company's long-term growth strategy, solidifying their presence both regionally and on the global market.

Edge Automy is on a roll, ramping up their engineering, design, and manufacturing capabilities across Latvia and the globe. The demand for their autonomous systems, top-tier optics, and robust energy solutions keeps soaring, making this swanky new digs a key player in their continuous growth and innovation.

"Latvia's been our home for more than a decade now, and we're all about the locale and the connections we've built here, in Latvia, the Baltics, and the EU as a whole," said Steve Adlich, Edge Automy's CEO. "This Riga setup is prime real estate for us—not just because Latvia's been a valued partner for ailing long, but also because we're situated close to plenty of customers and programs we're working with. I can't get over the technical prowess of the Latvian workforce and the cutting-edge tech coming from this region. We're stoked about the growth we've got planned."

Prime Minister Evika Siliņa chimed in, "Latvia's becoming the go-to spot for drone tech. It's our reality now. I reckon modern warfare's unthinkable without drones, so we've gotta defend Latvia with the latest and greatest tech. That's why we're dropping a mint on drone infrastructure. I'm psyched to see companies like Edge Automy setting up shop in Latvia. As a government, we've been smart about building infrastructure that lets devs collaborate with the armed forces, border guards, and cops to create kick-ass products."

Prior to this expansion, Edge Automy's production space took up a mere 5,400 square meters. With this upgrade, they've nearly doubled their production capacity, which is fantastic news for fulfilling larger order volumes and creating new jobs.
