Great news for travelers! Aurora Airlines has commenced direct regular flights from Vladivostok to Dalian, China's Liaoning province's second-largest city. This flight operates twice a week, with departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays, reported by PrimaMedia news agency.
An A319 aircraft handles the route, offering a flight time of around two hours, as stated by the press service of JSC "Vladivostok International Airport" (VIA). Another Chinese carrier, Hainan Airlines, maintains its twice-weekly flights on the route.
Interestingly, Aurora Airlines resumed this route that Juneyao Airlines previously operated in 2019. Aurora's aircraft fleet is composed of 19 aircraft, including eight Airbus A319s, the same number of DHC-8s, and three regional DHC-6s. These carriers unified as a Far East airline in 2021.
