Awqaf Dubai’s endowment funds surge 15% to AED111 million in 2025
The Endowment and Minors' Trust Foundation in Dubai (Awqaf Dubai) has reported a significant increase in its funds for 2025. The foundation's endowment, zakat, and charity funds have risen to AED111 million, up 15% from the previous year. This was announced during the 11th Board meeting of the year, chaired by His Excellency Essa Al Ghurair.
The meeting, chaired by His Excellency Essa Al Ghurair, saw the approval of several resolutions aimed at enhancing institutional performance and improving the management system for endowment assets. The Board also recognised the foundation's solar energy project in low-income housing buildings, which earned it an award at the Emirates Energy Award.
His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of Awqaf Dubai, attributed the rise in funds to the foundation's commitment to advancing development and digital initiatives. The foundation has made 65% progress in strengthening endowment sustainability through strategic collaborations. The Board reviewed key strategic plans and new endowment projects, ensuring alignment with the Dubai Social Agenda 33.
The foundation's endowment funds have increased to AED111 million, reflecting its dedication to sustainable practices and social development. The Board's recent resolutions and recognitions further cement Awqaf Dubai's commitment to its mission.
