Azerbaijan and Algeria deepen ties with new trade and economic pact
Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, recently visited Algeria, where he held productive meetings with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the President of the National People's Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Bayramov and Boughali reviewed the existing cooperation agenda, emphasizing the importance of interparliamentary relations. Both nations expressed a keen interest in expanding political dialogue and enhancing cooperation in areas such as economy, education, and energy. Minister Bayramov also briefed the Algerian leaders about Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and the country's vision for peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
The signing of the Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was highlighted as a significant step forward in advancing the relations between the two countries. The agreement is expected to facilitate cooperation in various fields and foster mutual growth.
