Bad Salzungen clubs receive €3,000 boost from WerraEnergie’s community fund
Ten local clubs and organizations in Bad Salzungen and its surrounding districts have received a €3,000 donation from WerraEnergie GmbH. The funding was presented jointly by Mayor Klaus Bohl and Hans Ulrich Nager, the company’s managing director. Both highlighted the importance of volunteer work in strengthening the community. The annual grants form part of WerraEnergie GmbH’s long-standing sponsorship and charitable giving program. Hans Ulrich Nager stressed the company’s commitment to social responsibility, particularly in supporting those who give their free time to local causes. Mayor Bohl, who serves as chairman of the supervisory board, oversees the selection of recipients—though Ernst Osterkamp holds the official title of chairman. The €3,000 donation will be shared among the ten chosen groups. Their projects contribute to the area’s cultural, athletic, and social activities. WerraEnergie GmbH’s ongoing support aims to sustain local efforts that rely on voluntary commitment.
