Baden-Württemberg Celebrates Rosh Hashanah with Political Support
From September 22nd to 24th, 2025, Jewish communities in Baden-Württemberg celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The festivities were marked by prominent political figures expressing support and unity.
Ministerpräsident Thomas Strobl attended the celebrations, firstly delivering a greeting at the Rosh Hashanah event of the Israelitische Religionsgemeinschaft Württemberg in Stuttgart. He praised the importance of Jewish life in society and condemned antisemitism.
Strobl, also the Deputy Minister-President and Minister of the Interior, later attended the New Year reception of the Israelitische Religionsgemeinschaft Baden in Karlsruhe. He expressed gratitude for the close cooperation with the Jewish communities and wished all attendees a 'Shana Tova'.
The Rosh Hashanah celebrations in Baden-Württemberg were marked by unity and support from the highest political levels. Thomas Strobl's presence and messages underscored the importance of Jewish life and the commitment to combat antisemitism in the region.
