Baden-Württemberg Honors 116 Small Businesses for Civil Protection Support
A record 116 small business ideas in Baden-Württemberg were recognised for supporting employees who volunteer in civil protection. The state government honoured these companies at a ceremony held in Tamm, Ludwigsburg district. The award highlights the role of employers in strengthening local emergency response efforts.
The annual award, presented by the Baden-Württemberg government, celebrates companies that encourage staff to take part in civil protection activities. This year’s ceremony took place on December 12, 2025, with Deputy Minister-President and Interior Minister Thomas Strobl leading the event.
The recognition programme continues to grow, with more businesses supporting employees in civil protection roles. This year’s record number of honoured companies reflects an increasing commitment to community safety. The state government plans to maintain the award as an annual tradition.
