Bangladesh appoints 545 new officers after 45th BCS exam results
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results of the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) viva voce exams. On Wednesday, the commission announced the selection of 1,807 candidates for cadre positions. A further 545 candidates were nominated for non-cadre roles the following day.
The 545 candidates successfully completed both the written and viva voce stages of the 45th BCS exams. Though they did not secure cadre positions, their performance earned them a recommendation for government jobs.
With the results now official, the 545 candidates will proceed to their new roles as gazetted officers. Their appointments will fill non-cadre jobs within the government, based on the BPSC’s assessment of their qualifications and exam performance.
