Bangladesh UGC reschedules key recruitment test to January 16, 2026

The University Grants Commission (UGC) in Bangladesh has rescheduled its recruitment test for Assistant Secretary and Assistant Director roles. The exam, originally postponed, will now take place on January 16, 2026, at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) campus in Dhaka.

The multiple-choice question (MCQ) test will run from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, January 16. Candidates have been instructed to check the updated seating plan, which was published on the UGC’s official website.

The revised seat arrangement went live on January 8, ensuring applicants have time to prepare. All relevant details, including venue and timing, are available at www.ugc.gov.bd.

With the new date and seating plan confirmed, eligible candidates can now finalise their preparations. The UGC has provided clear instructions to ensure a smooth examination process for all participants.
