The Bangladeshi Embassy in Tokyo hosted a community meeting for expatriates on Saturday. The event aimed to educate attendees about their responsibilities and compliance with Japanese laws and social norms. However, the name of the speaker for the second session remains unknown.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Southwest Asia division at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Masakatsu Murotani. He called on the Bangladeshi community to respect Japan's culture, traditions, and laws. Bangladesh ambassador to Japan Md Daud Ali also addressed the gathering. He urged the community to uphold Bangladesh's image by demonstrating integrity, discipline, and respect for Japanese laws and customs. The ambassador emphasized the importance of adhering to Japan's labour and immigration policies. NHK World-Japan delivered a presentation on its migrant-friendly initiatives during the event.

The community interaction meeting served as a reminder of the deep and historic ties between Bangladesh and Japan. Despite the unknown speaker for the second session, the event was successful in fostering understanding and cooperation between the Bangladeshi expatriate community and their host country.
