Bad Tölz train station has repeatedly found itself at the center of public attention. Most recently, during the local election campaign, there was much debate over what the town could do to improve the station's appearance. The answer: not much, since the station is privately owned. The situation is complex, with numerous overlapping issues surrounding the site. On Friday, a hearing at the Bavarian Administrative Court in Munich cast fresh light on the matter—this time over a pile of rubble on the station grounds.

Disputes over Bad Tölz station have flared up once again, with a mound of debris becoming the latest point of contention between the owner and the district authority in an administrative court battle.
