Bayreuth Honors Long-Serving District Chairs Müller and Rönsch
Manfred Müller, a long-serving district chair, has been recognized for his dedication to Bayreuth. Müller, who has held the post since 1990, was awarded the Golden Bayreuth Medal by Mayor Thomas Ebersberger for his volunteer work. Müller's district covers areas like Eubener Straße, Furtwängler Straße, and Schupfenschlag.
Müller, initially appointed on the recommendation of the BG faction, has prioritized public transit accessibility, safety, and urban landscape maintenance during his tenure. His commitment has been previously acknowledged with a certificate from the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior in 2015 and the Silver Bayreuth Medal in 2020.
Johanna Rönsch, who served as the chair of the 10th District from 2000 to an unspecified end, was also recognized for her contributions. Appointed on the recommendation of the Green Party’s city council faction, Rönsch was presented with the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior’s certificate for exceptional contributions to local self-governance.
Both Müller and Rönsch have left significant marks on Bayreuth's local governance. Müller's dedication spans over three decades, while Rönsch's service began in 2000 and continued until an unspecified time. Their contributions have been duly recognized and celebrated.
