Belarus Expands Visa-Free Travel, Boosts Oman Flights
Belarus is expanding its visa-free travel options, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs planning to sign agreements with more countries soon. Meanwhile, charter flights to Oman are set to increase, aiming to transport around 4,500 tourists by the end of the season.
Currently, no specific countries have been announced for the upcoming visa-free agreements. However, the list of visa-free countries for Belarus is continually reviewed and updated to boost tourism and economic ties. To stay informed, officials suggest monitoring the official Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or reliable news sources.
Belarusians have been able to travel to Oman visa-free since February last year. Starting October, two charter flights per month are scheduled, with the goal of transporting approximately 4,500 tourists by the end of the season. This expansion follows the signing of a visa-free agreement with Laos on July 17. Under this agreement, Belarusians can travel to Oman without visas, with stays up to a month exempt from entry, exit, and transit permits.
While no specific countries have been named for the upcoming visa-free agreements, Belarus continues to explore opportunities to expand its visa-free travel list. Meanwhile, the country's tourism ties with Oman are set to strengthen, with increased charter flights planned for the upcoming season.
