Benfica’s presidency hangs in the balance as runoff election unfolds today

Benfica's runoff election for club president is taking place today, with members choosing between incumbent Rui Costa and João Noronha Lopes. The election is expected to mobilize all 160,000 members, following a record-breaking first round that saw over 85,000 voters participate.
