Bergisch Gladbach Greens launch podcast to demystify local politics

Bergisch Gladbach's Green Party has launched a new podcast, Stadtklima GL – Voices, Topics, Perspectives, to bring local politics closer to residents. The first two episodes are now available on streaming platforms and the party's website.

The podcast's debut episode introduces its core concept: making local politics more accessible. The second instalment then dives into the work of the Green Party faction on the city council. Both episodes reflect the Greens' push for transparency and public involvement.

A key segment, City Hall Whispers, explores the background of political choices. The show also breaks down complex issues, like the importance of new cycling infrastructure, in simple terms. Residents are encouraged to suggest topics, helping shape future episodes.

The Greens describe the podcast as an open invitation to discussion. They believe better solutions come from hearing a range of voices. More details, including how to submit ideas, can be found at gruene-gl.de.

The first two episodes of Stadtklima GL are live, with no further releases announced yet. The series offers a direct look at Bergisch Gladbach's political processes and community perspectives. Residents can take part by proposing topics for upcoming discussions.
