Bergisch Gladbach Honors Firefighters for Decades of Courageous Service
The Bergisch Gladbach Fire Department will hold its annual ceremony on Friday, November 28, 2025. The event recognises firefighters for their long-standing service and begins at 7:00 PM. Mayor Marcel Kreutz, who took office earlier in the month, will deliver the opening speech.
The ceremony takes place in the Mirror Hall of the Bergischer Löwe Civic Center. Firefighters with 25, 35, and 50 years of service will receive honours for their dedication. The department has invited members of the press to attend and cover the occasion.
The evening will highlight the contributions of experienced firefighters in Bergisch Gladbach. The ceremony also provides an early opportunity for the new mayor to engage with the community. Honours will be awarded to those who have served for decades in the fire service.
