Bergisch Gladbach's Autumn Break: Exciting Workshops & Events for All Ages
Bergisch Gladbach gears up for an exciting autumn break, offering a diverse range of workshops, activities, and events for children and young people. From music and sound technology to girl empowerment and sports, there's something for everyone.
Kicking off the holiday is the 'Sport meets Circus' program from October 13 to 17, blending sports and circus arts for kids aged 7 to 12 at the stadium hall on the BELKAW grounds. Meanwhile, the Autumn Holiday Tumble Room offers movement activities and free play for toddlers and their older siblings on October 13 and 14.
The Q1 Youth Center remains open throughout the break, providing games, puzzles, painting, and an acting course for young people aged 8 to 25. For those interested in music, the 'Music programming and sound technology' workshop runs from October 21 to 24, teaching young people aged 13 and above to create their own beats and sound effects as part of the zdi network MINT Rhein-Berg.
The 'Girl Empowerment' workshop at the Bergisch Gladbach City Library on October 20 and 21 focuses on building confidence and implementing ideas for girls aged 10 to 13. The Krea Youth Club hosts the ROOTS&ROUTES workshop week from October 18 to 25, offering a range of creative workshops including rap, singing, beat production, street dance, break dance, video, and graffiti for young people aged 13 and above.
On Monday, October 19, art enthusiasts can enjoy the exhibition opening 'Inbetween - Between the Doors: Sculptures and Paintings' by Hermann J. Bach at the Kulturkirche Herrenstrunden. Later that day, seniors are invited to the Seniors' Dance Café at Gasthaus Paas from 15:00 to 17:00. The Paper Museum also offers various workshops and tours throughout the break, including a 'Dragon Day' on October 19, a 'Spooky Fantasy Masks' workshop on October 23, and a Halloween special flashlight tour on October 31.
