Truck fire on A113 - Inbound lane closed - Berlin-Adlershof highway fire shuts down A113 inbound lanes overnight

A late-night incident on the A113 highway near Berlin-Adlershof caused significant disruption. A trailer carrying fruit caught fire, leading to the closure of the inbound lane. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The fire department confirmed the incident and is currently working to clear the scene. Cleanup operations are expected to continue into the early morning hours. The cause of the blaze remains unknown, with the Berlin Police investigating its origin.

The driver of the truck managed to escape unharmed. Traffic towards the south has since been reopened, but the inbound direction remains closed while investigations and cleanup continue.
