Berlin arson suspect arrested after portable toilet fire in Lichterfelde
A suspected arson attack took place in Berlin’s Lichterfelde district early this morning. Emergency services responded to a fire in a portable toilet on Drakestraße around 2 a.m. The incident led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man already known to police.
The fire broke out in the early hours, with flames engulfing the portable toilet. As officers arrived, a man emerged from the burning structure with his jacket ablaze. Police quickly extinguished the flames on his clothing, and no injuries were reported.
