Berlin Bar Brawl Leaves One Man Critically Injured After Glass Attack
A violent brawl broke out in a Berlin bar early Sunday morning, leaving one man seriously injured. The incident happened around 3:15 AM on Rudolf-Seiffert-Straße in the Fennpfuhl neighbourhood. Police are now searching for the attacker after he fled the scene.
The altercation began when a 44-year-old man struck a 42-year-old man in the face with a drinking glass. The victim suffered severe facial injuries and lost a large amount of blood. Paramedics rushed him to hospital, where his condition was initially described as life-threatening.
His injuries were later stabilised, and his condition improved. Meanwhile, the suspect had already left the bar before officers arrived. Investigators later identified the 44-year-old as the attacker.
The case has since been handed over to a specialist unit within Police Directorate 3 (East). Authorities have not released the suspect’s name to the public.
The victim remains in hospital, now in stable condition. Police continue their search for the 44-year-old attacker. The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the specialised unit.
