Berlin Bus Attack: Driver Injured as Heavy Plate Dropped from Bridge
Berlin was left shocked after an attack on a MTA bus. An unknown assailant dropped a heavy base plate from a pedestrian bridge, injuring the driver. Three dark-clad teenagers were seen fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred when a 28-kilogram base plate was deliberately dropped onto a bus passing beneath a pedestrian bridge. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was injured and taken to a hospital for outpatient treatment. Miraculously, all passengers on the bus escaped unharmed.
Witnesses reported seeing three teenagers, dressed in dark clothing, fleeing the scene immediately after the attack. They were last seen leaving the pedestrian bridge. The identities of these individuals remain unknown. A shopping cart was found wedged in the railing of the bridge, suggesting it might have been used to secure the heavy object.
The motive behind this attack is yet to be determined. Police are investigating the incident and appealing for any witnesses to come forward. The injured driver is expected to make a full recovery.
