Berlin Fire: Arson Suspected After Extensive Vehicle and Property Damage
A serious fire incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in Berlin's Charlottenburg-North district. A burning Ford car was the initial cause, leading to extensive damage and a suspected arson case. Firefighters arrived at around 4:45 AM to find three cars already fully ablaze in Goebelstraße. The flames quickly spread, damaging seven vehicles in total - six cars and one van - and an adjacent house. The intense heat also affected four more vehicles and the entrance area of a neighboring house. The fire was successfully extinguished, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Berlin State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation, suspecting arson. A 32-year-old man has been taken into custody as the primary suspect.
