Five Injured in Apartment Fire in Berlin's Southeast - Berlin Fire: Five Rescued, No Major Injuries in Altglienicke Blaze
A fire in a multi-family house in Berlin's Altglienicke district early this morning saw the Berlin Fire Department (Berliner Feuerwehr) rush to the scene. Five residents were rescued and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The blaze started on the first floor of the four-story building. Despite the cold, residents were temporarily moved to a fire department bus for safety. The fire department successfully prevented the fire from spreading further. All rescued individuals were later transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Berlin Fire Department managed to extinguish the fire, ensuring no major injuries or further damage. Five residents were rescued and are now receiving medical care.
