Berlin garage fire destroys Mercedes and damages four other cars
A fire broke out in an underground garage on Revaler Straße in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district last night. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after a passerby spotted thick smoke billowing from the building at around 8:30 p.m.
The fire started inside the garage, where firefighters found a Mercedes fully engulfed in flames. They quickly brought the blaze under control, but four other parked vehicles suffered damage. While crews worked, Revaler Straße was temporarily closed between Modersohnstraße and Dirschauer Weg.
The incident disrupted traffic and left several cars damaged. Investigators continue to examine the scene, though no further details have been released.
