Berlin home robbery leaves police hunting for third suspect after two arrests
A robbery at a detached house in Berlin’s Karow district left police searching for a third suspect. Two men were arrested after breaking in through a balcony door on Heimfriedstraße. The third man involved in the incident remains unidentified.
The break-in happened yesterday evening at around 6:50 p.m. Three men forced their way into the property, stealing electronic devices. Police later tracked the stolen items, which led to the capture of two suspects.
The arrested men were taken to a specialised unit under Police Directorate 1 (North). They underwent identification procedures before being placed in custody. Both are scheduled to appear before an investigating magistrate later today.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether an arrest warrant will be issued. The decision rests with the magistrate following today’s hearing.
Investigations into the robbery continue as police work to identify the third suspect. The two men in custody may face further legal action depending on the magistrate’s ruling. No additional details about the third individual have been released so far.
