Berlin man brutally attacked by three juveniles in broad daylight
A 22-year-old man was assaulted by three juveniles in Berlin’s Gesundbrunnen district on Monday afternoon. The attack took place near the intersection of Koloniestraße and Soldiner Straße at around 3:20 p.m. The local police are now investigating the incident as part of a wider crackdown on youth-related crime in the area.
The victim was first approached by the group before one assailant began kicking and punching him in the face. The man attempted to escape, but the suspects chased him, restrained him, and continued the assault. The attack only stopped when a bystander intervened, shouting that she had called the police. The three suspects then fled the scene.
Investigators are reviewing evidence and appealing for witnesses to come forward. The incident adds to ongoing concerns about youth violence in the district. The local police have urged anyone with information to contact them immediately.
