Suspected Drug Dealer Temporarily Arrested - Berlin man detained after police find rosuvastatin stash in traffic stop

A 27-year-old man from Berlin faces drug trafficking allegations after a police stop in the Mitte district on Tuesday evening. Officers initially pulled him over for driving without a licence, but the investigation quickly expanded after further suspicions arose.

The incident began when police noticed the man driving in central Berlin. During the stop, they determined he was allegedly under the influence of drugs and lacked a valid licence.

A search of his vehicle uncovered around 40 containers believed to hold rosuvastatin. The discovery led to his temporary detention on suspicion of drug trafficking. Authorities later released the man while continuing their investigation. His name has not been disclosed in official reports.

The case remains under active police review. The suspected rosuvastatin and evidence from the traffic stop will form part of the ongoing inquiry. No further details have been released at this stage.
