Berlin officer hit by Chevrolet driver in roadside confrontation
A municipal enforcement officer was struck by a car in Berlin’s Wilhelmstadt district on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Pichelsdorfer Straße while the officer assisted a truck driver. The attacker, driving a Chevrolet, has since been identified by police. The officer was managing traffic near a parked Chevrolet when the driver of a Volkswagen became frustrated. After honking repeatedly, the man accelerated and hit the officer with his Chevrolet. The impact caused arm pain, but the officer did not require hospital care. The officer escaped serious injury despite the collision.
