Berlin police arrest 27-year-old with drugs, cash and a weapon-like spray

A routine check at Berlin Central Station led to the arrest of a 27-year-old German man on Sunday. Federal police found him carrying narcotics, cash, and a weapon-like spray. Authorities have now launched an investigation into suspected drug offences.

The arrest at Berlin Central Station happened during a standard patrol. Officers discovered five bags of pills weighing around two kilograms in the man’s possession. He also carried about €1,500 in cash and an animal repellent spray in his jacket pocket.

The 27-year-old remains in custody as investigators examine the drugs and money found on him. The 33-year-old faces questioning over the ATM attack in northern Germany. Both cases are now under active police investigation.
