Berlin police arrest 28-year-old suspect in daring jewellery heist
Berlin police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a jewellery store burglary in Weißensee. The incident took place on Berliner Allee on July 9. The investigation began after a break-in at a jewellery shop on Berliner Allee in July. Police identified the suspect as a 28-year-old Berlin resident. During a raid on November 28, officers searched his Marzahn apartment and vehicle. The arrested man is currently in pretrial detention while the case proceeds. The recovered items, including weapons and disguises, will be analysed as part of the inquiry. Police continue to gather details about the July burglary and the suspect’s alleged involvement.
