Berlin police arrest 28-year-old woman in late-night graffiti bust under Massante Bridge
A 28-year-old woman was arrested in Johannisthal late last night, suspected of graffiti vandalism. She was caught spray-painting a noise barrier under the Massante Bridge. Two accomplices escaped and remain at large. The arrest followed a report from a cyclist who spotted the trio at work around 10:45 p.m. The woman was found with multiple spray cans and had paint stains on her clothing. These were seized as evidence. She was taken into custody for fingerprinting and identification procedures. Despite the evidence, the suspect was later released pending further investigation. The case has been transferred to a specialized unit at Berlin’s State Criminal Police Office for further action. The arrested woman, aged 28, is suspected of graffiti vandalism. Two alleged accomplices remain unidentified. The investigation continues, with the case now in the hands of a specialized unit.
