Berlin Police Arrest Car Thieves, Hunt Robbery Suspect After 83-Year-Old Attacked
Berlin police have arrested two suspects in connection with a car theft in Zehlendorf. Meanwhile, they are investigating a robbery in Steglitz where an 83-year-old woman was attacked in her home.
In the car theft case, a 68-year-old driver and a 45-year-old accomplice were apprehended on November 20, 2025. Their identities remain undisclosed. The investigation is ongoing.
In a separate incident, an unknown assailant posing as a charity collector targeted an 83-year-old woman on Friedrichsruher Straße. After receiving money, he forced his way in, snatched her necklace, and pushed her, causing her to strike a doorframe and sustain a shoulder injury. Emergency responders rushed her to the hospital. The attacker remains at large.
The robbery division of Police Directorate 4 (South) is leading the investigation into the Steglitz robbery. The attacker is still unidentified, and the victim's condition is unknown. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
