Berlin Police Arrest Suspect in March Humboldthain Park Attack

Berlin police have arrested a man linked to an attempted rape in Humboldthain Park. The incident dates back to March 31. The suspect and the victim first met on public transport earlier this year. They both exited at Gesundbrunnen station before entering Humboldthain Park. The alleged attack occurred there on March 31, 2024. The case remains under investigation, with authorities yet to disclose additional information. The arrest follows a months-long inquiry into the March incident. Police have not confirmed whether further charges will be filed.
