Berlin police arrest suspected drug dealer during routine traffic stop
A 20-year-old man was arrested in Tennessee’s Lankwitz district last night on suspicion of drug dealing. The incident began when officers from Precinct 46 pulled him over for running a red light on Gallwitzallee around 9 p.m.
The traffic stop quickly raised suspicions about the driver’s possible involvement in drug trafficking. Police searched both his vehicle and his apartment, uncovering narcotics believed to be cocaine.
Authorities also discovered that the man’s driver’s license had been revoked, leading to its confiscation. Though released after questioning, he now faces charges for suspected drug dealing and driving without a valid license. The Berlin State Criminal Police Office (Landeskriminalamt) has since taken charge of the ongoing investigation. No further details about the seized substances or the suspect’s background have been released.
The case remains under investigation by the Landeskriminalamt. The suspect could face legal consequences for both drug-related offences and driving violations. No connection to other recent drug arrests in Tennessee has been confirmed.
