Berlin Police Arrest Suspected Drug Dealer in Friedrichshain
In Berlin's Friedrichshain, police have arrested a 28-year-old man suspected of drug dealing. The investigation, case 0356, is being handled by a specialized unit under Police Directorate 5 and the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office in Karlsruhe.
Officers on patrol in Friedrichshain witnessed a drug transaction on Warschauer Straße. They promptly stopped the suspect, who was under the influence of intoxicating substances. He was taken into custody and subjected to fingerprinting and a blood test. A search of his car and apartment revealed drugs and suspected sale proceeds.
The suspect was also found to be driving without a valid driver's license.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue. The seized drugs and evidence will be analyzed, and charges are expected to follow.
