Berlin police bust illegal fireworks seller in Wedding district raid

Berlin police have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of selling illegal fireworks online. The operation followed a search in the Wedding district, where officers seized a large quantity of unauthorised fireworks. Authorities are now investigating potential breaches of the Explosives Act.

The arrest took place after officers searched an apartment on Seestraße in Wedding. Inside, they discovered and confiscated illegal fireworks, including mortar shells and stage pyrotechnics. The suspect had allegedly been selling the items through a dedicated social media account.
