Berlin police crack down on organized burglary ring in coordinated raids

Police in Berlin and Mainz carried out coordinated raids on December 12, 2025, targeting suspects linked to organized residential burglaries. Nine men were detained in total, with seven held in preliminary custody. Authorities also seized burglary tools and suspected stolen goods during the operation.

In Berlin, officers raided two apartments on Schwarnweberstraße in Reinickendorf. Two men, aged 24 and 38, were arrested on charges of residential burglary and conspiracy. A 35-year-old suspect, already wanted on an outstanding warrant, was among those detained.

The raids resulted in multiple arrests and the recovery of potential evidence. Police continue to examine the extent of the burglaries and possible connections between the suspects. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
