Berlin police detain 20-year-old man after shop break-in with pyrotechnics
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a shop in Berlin’s Wilmersdorf district. Police found a smashed display window and boxes of pyrotechnics inside the premises. The suspect, already known to authorities, suffered minor injuries during the incident.
The incident began when officers responded to reports of a damaged rear door at the store. Upon arrival, they discovered the broken window and illegal pyrotechnics inside. A 20-year-old man was quickly detained near the scene.
Authorities continue to examine the circumstances of the break-in. The suspect remains under investigation, though no formal charges have yet been filed. The shop’s damage and the recovered pyrotechnics are key points in the ongoing probe.
