Berlin police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a violent robbery. On May 4, 2024, a 68-year-old woman was attacked in broad daylight near Grunewald station. The man stole her gold necklace and left her with an injured finger.
The incident happened at around 2:05 PM on Hilde-Ephraim-Straße, in a green area close to the station. Investigators believe the suspect may have followed the victim from Charlottenburg station before carrying out the attack. He forcibly snatched the necklace, causing the woman to suffer a finger injury.
The suspect remains unidentified, and no further details about his identity have been released. Police continue to investigate the robbery and are relying on public assistance to locate the man involved. The victim’s injuries were treated, but the stolen necklace has not yet been recovered.
