Berlin Police Hunt Suspects in Homophobic Assault on Teen
Berlin police are appealing for information following a homophobic assault in Prenzlauer Berg on March 25, 2024. Two unknown men are being sought in connection with the incident, which left a 17-year-old victim injured.
The suspects first targeted an unidentified man at Eberswalder Straße station before moving on to assault the teenager at Schönhauser Allee station. The young man who was kicked at the first station is urged to come forward as a witness. Police are asking for any information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects, as well as details about the incident.
The suspects are described as follows: the first, around 5’9” to 5’11” (1.75–1.80 m) tall, aged approximately 20–30, with a slim to gaunt build and short black hair with an undercut, and three-day stubble. The second suspect is around 5’10” (1.78 m) tall, also aged approximately 20–30, with a stocky build and short, lighter-colored hair.
