Berlin police nab two pickpockets in hotel lobby sting
Plainclothes officers in Berlin apprehended two men, aged 21 and 46, for pickpocketing. The incident occurred in a hotel lobby on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße around 4:45 p.m. The suspects stole cash from a 46-year-old man's wallet and attempted to flee toward Spandauer Straße. However, they were observed by plainclothes officers who swiftly intervened and apprehended them. Both suspects were then processed for identification and transferred to a specialized unit of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office. The stolen money was recovered and returned to its rightful owner. Investigations into the incident are ongoing. The names of the two suspects have not been released.
