Berlin police officer bitten during violent Kreuzberg arrest
The altercation began just after 2 a.m. when officers responded to reports of attempted criminal damage to a car. Upon arrival, they encountered two men—one aged 20, the other 35. The younger suspect was released at the scene without further action.
The suspect remains in custody while investigators examine his role in both the Kreuzberg incident and wider drug-related allegations. The injured officer’s condition is being monitored, and the case will proceed under the oversight of Berlin’s police directorate.
