Berlin police are asking for public help to identify a man whose body was found in the Westhafen Canal. The discovery was made on Thursday, October 24, 2024, between Goerdeler Bridge and Mörsch Bridge. Authorities have yet to determine his name or background. The man is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, with a height of around 164 cm (5'4"). He had short reddish-blond hair and several distinctive tattoos, including a male face wearing a crown of thorns on his left chest, as well as other designs across his upper body and arms. The case remains under investigation as police work to establish the man’s identity. Anyone with relevant details is encouraged to contact the authorities.
